Rigby to Honor Local Vietnam Era Veteran
On Friday, Feb. 16, a portion of Syberton Road in Gallitzin Township, Cambria County, will be dedicated in honor of Private Martin J. Hanlon, a 1968 Penn Cambria High School graduate. Pvt. Hanlon lost his life during the Vietnam War in 1970 when the truck he was serving as a gunner on struck a landmine in Quang Nam Province of South Vietnam.The renaming of the road is the result of legislation authored by state Rep.
